Activity format​​​​​​​:
​​​​​​​Whole-language instruction is adopted to help build the listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities of children; Chinese and English storybooks are used to cultivate the reading abilities, interests and habits of children.

Target group:
The nursery school has 12 places for handicapped children in the integrated programmeme.
12 children, aged 2-6, that are healthy and already enrolled in the day-time nursery service in the nursery school.

Mission:

• Allow parents to flexibly extend their working hours and thus consolidate their abilities to be self-sufficient.
• Satisfy the needs of single parents/working parents who may require longer hours of child-care services.
• Allow parents the time to look for retraining courses or jobs and thus strengthen their abilities to be self-sufficient..
  

Target group:​​​​​​​
9 children who are healthy and aged 2-6.

Mission:
Aid parents in resolving short-term child-care concerns; prevent letting children stay at home alone in cases where parents have gone out.

Activity format​​​​​​​:
Games, arts & crafts, singing, storytelling, everyday care such as eating, napping etc.

Target group​​​​​​​:
28 children, aged 2-6, that are healthy and already enrolled in the day-time nursery service in the nursery school.

Extended Hours Service Hours:​​​​​​​
Monday to Friday: 6pm – 7pm
Saturday: 1pm – 3pm
​​​​​​​Holiday: The nursery school is closed on public holidays

Activity format:
Arts and crafts, storytelling, playing with toys, games, completing homework etc.

Mission:​​​​​​​
Provide on-site early intervention for children aged 2-6 with special needs; enhance the learning and development of these children through supporting their caregivers and schools.

Target group:​​​​​​​

• Children below six years old and studying at one of the kindergartens or kindergarten-cum-child care centres participating in our “Sunshine Kids”scheme, and
• Being placed on the waitlist at the Central Referral System for Rehabilitation Services (CRSRehab) of the Social Welfare Department (i.e. children who received formal recognized assessment).Children waiting for assessments by the Child Assessment Centre of Department of Health (depending on service capacity, provided that the number of these children will not exceed 10% of the team’s service capacity)
• The teachers, child care workers, parents, or caregivers of the above children.

Psychologist, social worker, speech therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, senior special Pre-school teacher, special pre-school teacher.
